As many of you know, this is the noble:
Thomas Jonathan Jackson.
You may wonder why I didn't just put
"Stonewall."
Well, believe it or not, he did not like being called Stonewall.
He said that he was not stonewall, that the real stonewall was the Virginia Brigade.
And during the War Between the States when the Yankees
heard that the Stonewall Brigade was coming that
instilled fear upon them!
Once when his supplies were bare, his men tired and many other down falls had come upon he and his men,
he rallied them up and having encouraged them so,
the men ran forward with bayonets and leaving there fear behind, shouted,
'JACKSON, JACKSON, JACKSON!!!!"
Having heard this the foe ran for their lives leaving the Confederates with a great victory!

As I wrote my report about him today, I couldn't help but think how sad it is that such a
brilliant mind died at just the mere age of 31.
But, it was the Lord's will and he was ready, for having been shot under friendly fire and having pneumonia from a punctured lung and inhaled anesthetic on his death on May 10th in 1863
after his wife Mary Anna told him that would go home within the hour,
he looked into her eyes and said,
"I prefer it."

I hope and pray that when the Lord calls us all home that we all
"Prefer it" as he did!

Hello everyone!!!

I hope that you all have had a good week so far!!! I was blessed to be able to go to my grandmother's house and visit with her!!!! My grandmother is so funny! She makes the funniest little noises to let us know where she is! Also on Wednesdays I help my Aunt Bug in the nursery!!That is so much fun!! We had 4 little boys, two 2 year olds, a 1 year old and about 6 month old! They are the sweetest little things!!! The two 2 yro fight sometimes but it is really funny to see their reactions when you tell them not to fight and be sweet! They either just look at each funny or give each other a hug! It is the cutest thing! Tonight one of the boys hit me and I told him not to do that and he gave me hug! They are all so sweet!

as I walked around the many store we visited I often wondered how many people that were right around me, didn't know what Easter really is about! :( It makes me sad to think of this. I also found myself thanking the LORD over and over again for what he had done! I can not imagine the pain that that caused. Only He knows.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Easter full hope, joy and Peace of our WONDERFUL Saviour!

Sissy is now done with school!!!
She graduated last night and was the bell of the ball!!
She looked so happy and so beautiful!!!
She and a very good friend, the day before went and got their nails and toes done, bought lovely shirts to where under there graduation gowns and Sissy got a new pair of shoes!!!
We are all so happy!

We all still haven't gotten a good grip on the fact that she no longer has to run and go study!
That she can sit and talk with us and not have to worry about a test!!!

Isn't she just beautiful!!!
We are all so proud of her!!!
She now can start her farm and pursue her dream to help children and teens with epilepsy!

Thank you Father for all that you have done and letting her get done so swiftly!
Thank you for making her hands strong so that she was able to finish her stone wall in time like Nehemiah did!!!

Nehemiah 6:9

For they all made us afraid,
saying,
There hands shall be weakened from there work, that is not be done
Now thereof,
O GOD, strengthen my hands.

Sissy is now done with school and we so happy for her!!!!!
She passed the EXIT exam and right is at her school signing some papers to verify that is now DONE, DONE, DONE!!!!!!

Thank you Lord for giving Sissy a very successful college career!!!
Thank you for keeping her hands strong in you and not letting anything stop her from doing what you want her to do!
Ministering to the least of these that have epilepsy.
Thank you for letting her be my sister!

Here is one of Sissy's early morning study times! ;0) You did it!

Palm Sunday

I knew that I should do a post about this Sunday, but I didn't know what to say, but, still I
really wanted to do it.
Tonight at Small group that is what Mama talked about.
My heart feels heavy as I think the thought that as Jesus was riding into Jerusalem,
He knew exactly what would happen the next Sunday!
That he was going to be killed by the same people that were praising him and saying,
"HOSANNA, PRAISE THE LORD!"
because he wasn't the king that they wanted! They wanted someone that would defeat the Romen Kingdom and that wasn't the prophecy that he came to fulfill.
He came to die the the death of a criminal!
And many people may think that there is no hope in this story,
for if it ended there, yes, there wold be no hope, but all this story is, is hope!
To bring hope to the LOST, to the BLIND, to the DEAF and to the LAME!
To bring HOPE to me!
For He rose on the third day and is our resurrected SAVIOUR!!!

Thank you LORD!
I cannot thank you enough and I will never be worthy of what you, your perfect self did, but still, you did it any way!
Thank you JESUS!
That is the greatest BLESSING of all!
Thank you!
Thank you for allowing us to come into your house and worship!
Thank you for the gift of eternal life through your Son,
JESUS CHRIST that you gave to me!

The life of a little country man!

This is my little brother doing his favorite chore!
Gathering the eggs!
He enjoys it so much it might as well not be a chore!
Now that it has finally decided to warm up the chickens have started to lay again!
It is so nice!
We all love to eat breakfast for super and when you have 9 people that takes a lot of eggs!
Having these chickens is just ONE of the MANY ways GOD
has blessed us!
A person on our road had given us a lot of roosters and a precious friends father in law said that he would trade us some of his chickens for our roosters!
And this past summer, one of the chickens hatched some biddies and all of them but one lived! :(
So for a while we had 11 balls of glowing fuss running around!
They were so cute!
That Mama hen protected her biddies like GOD protected us from the devil when He sent His Son to die for us so that we might be little balls of glowing fuss running around heaven one day!

Thank you LORD for all the blessings that you have given to our family!
Just today, you gave us so much!
Thank you LORD!

Summer!

We have had a lot of butter cups and that is a real sign of SPRING!
I can't wait until summer!
Lord willing I will be finishing school at the end of May and will need to do my packing for the Mission Trip early because, June 1-5th will be Bible School for our church and we will have commencement Thursday night, then on Friday the 6th of June at 7:00 am we will be leaving for Louisiana! ;)

The energy GOD gives you on that trip is AMAZING!!!!
Have you ever taken a break for 15 min. then feel as though you have taken a 3 hour nap?
That is the greatest feeling in the world and it is because God gives it to you!!!!
And as of right now, that I know of, we will have 3 new people coming with us!
The pic on the top right is of one of the hardest working men that I know!
It is AMAZING how much he can get done!
And the pic on the right is Fall MF's older brother who was always right along side the other man no matter what he was doing, even if it was working in a attic that was 120 degrees!
The people that God sends on these mission trips are the greatest people to work with!
"Tatar," the man in the first pic can make anything look easy and that is because he full of LOVE for the Father!

Thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity to do work for you!
Thank you for all the energy that you give us!

All New!!!!!

It is very to look at how I have changed my blog because it is almost just like my bed room that
I share with Baby Girl!
But that just means that I really like those kinds of colors!

Left is a pic of my favorite spot in our room!
I saw this old china in a local antique shop and it, and a few rooms I had scene a magazine and on TV set the trend for mine and Baby Girl's room (and my blog, as you can see)!

Today was a beautiful day.
Mama and Baby Girl took the Chief (our great grandpa) to Ryan's to meet a friend and have lunch,
I was able to spend time with Daddy, the boys have friend over and are either playing football, baseball or playing war with each other, Doodle Bug is resting because of a bad cold,
Sissy is studying and Rose Bud is tucked away in a corner somewhere reading!

Thank you LORD for letting us live in country where we can do all these things and many more without fear of anything happening!

That is pic of Little Man, Buddy and a very good friend "Slim" at our Aunt Jenny's
this past summer enjoying her new pool!
Don't we all wish that it was that warm!
And we got snow this morning!

Fridays are usually very busy for us.
Today at church we helped with the annual BBQ.
We got there at about 8:00 and helped fix around 1500 plates of BBQ!
That was a whirl wind, and all of them were done at about 11:00.
Then we went to piano.
The pic is of me and Baby Girl on a Friday evening and we had a pretty "fun" time matching socks!
As we were folding them together we found a few odds and ends and had fun with them!
And not only did the socks inspire us to do this but we did some other interesting things also!

Always learning new things, even at 87 years old!

My precious grandmother is always learning something new!
She is never afraid to try something even if it is running Doodle Bug's TOSHIBA laptop!
Sometimes I am scared to touch it!
She loved looking at our WONDERFUL cousins blog and the new additions that have joined their WONDERFUL family!

Lord, please let me be like the wonderful Grandmother that you have given to me!
She is so humble and is never thinking of herself!
Please let me be able to learn things even when I am 87 years old!
