FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!

Stress
can do different
things to different people!
Here is Fall after a DR. Grant Lecture!
Me and MF had flowers in our hair and went and got some to go behind his ears. He's a good sport.
He's like a brother to me.

Fridays are always very busy for us!
Me or Rosebud will get up at 7:00 AM and practice piano for an hour then at 8:00 AM
the one who was not practicing will go from 8:00 to 9:00 AM.
Then Buddy and Baby Girl will each get 30 min.
Then at 10:00 AM we leave our house for our dear friends the LORD has blessed us with,
the J's and I will do history with MF, (taught by her mom) the 3 little ones will do school (taught by Mama) with MF's little sister (AG) and Rosebud does school with MF's older brother,
Fall (that is his nick name).
Then we leave their house after lunch and fly to piano!
Rosebud goes then me and after my lesson we go clean a lady's house while
Buddy and Baby Girl have their lessons!

Then we come HOME!!!!!!!

That is usually around 5:30 or so.

God is so wonderful to give us the privilege to do all these things and give us the strength to do them.
Then we all get in comfy clothes, eat a crock pot supper and watch a movie!

Thank you LORD for letting us live in a country where we can do all these things without fear!
Please be with all the Sailors, Solders, Pilots, Guards and Marines!
Please bless them all and keep them all safe!

The Mission Trip!

As I sat in front of the heater trying get worm and do school at the same time my mind kept traveling back to the second week of June last summer. Me and my three older sisters went to Bossier City Louisiana on a mission trip with Carpenters For CHRIST. As my fingers felt like ice I could remember us all getting SO HOT! It is amazing to be able to look back and see all that GOD helped a small handful of people do! When we got there on Friday we were going to do the venal siding and that would take us all week because the building was HUGE!!!!!
Well, as you can see in the pic below, Doodle Bug and LM were getting the windows ready for us to put the siding on.
Here we are putting the siding on the siding and we thought that was all we get too do but GOD had other plans!!

On Saturday when we started working, the guy in pic below "Fall" is his nick name asked our uncle, who was in charge, when we could start on the roof? Our uncle responded saying that we were not going to do the roof because we would not have time. Well, having had the siding done, permission was granted to start on the roof which was finisded Wednesday evening around 7:30!

Our GOD is AMAZING!But GOD did not cease to amaze us with that! It would get to hot during the day to work on the roof so up went the sheet rock!!!! Even though we are extremely tired when we get home, we are full joy, peace and on fire for the LORD! Have you ever taken a 15 min. brake and drank a whole bottle of water, maybe even 2 and felt as though you had taken a 3 hour nap? That is one of the most AMAZING feelings in the world!

We can all be like a kid again sometimes! Even Boss!

My Daddy!

I have the most WONDERFUL and AWESOME Daddy! He is the best father a girl could ask for. Always willing to lend a hand, give advice or wisdom at any moment. He is so self sacrificing! Just like in the picture above many men would of wanted a new truck for CHRISTmas but Daddy is content with Gomer Pyle USMC. Always helping someone else and never worried about himself! In may of '06 we almost lost him but it was not his time to go I reckon! The good LORD let him stay with us! My Daddy is literally a walking miracle. While having a simple procedure done on his esophagus air got into a blood vessel, traveled to his brain and right then a there my daddy had a stoke and for about 45 min. his whole left side was numb. As I was standing in the ICU room after it was all over I had to make my self not cry as I stood and looked at my daddy and realized that my daddy could of been gone or the whole left side of his body damaged for years! But he's here, happy and healthy! The day after he got home, he moved a cow from one lot to another and on Sunday, blessed LORDS day he shared his story with our church with tears in his eyes! He is always there for me. His hard hands show how hard he works so that we can stay at home with our mama! God is so wonderful to give me the daddy that I have! He is always happy and laughing! Many people say that laughter is the best medicine and that saying rings true with my daddy!! He is always there when I get sick and he never gets sick! He is always encouraging us in what we do and telling us what will work and what won't in a good way!!! Sissy had a big final today, Monday, and last night she was studying and getting very nervous and worried about it, then Daddy came up stairs to say prayers with us and he told her in his own little comical way, not to worry about because, "She could LICK it!!" And with that in mind, Sissy went and took that final this morning and made a 90!!!!!!!!!!!! We are all so proud of her!

Thank you LORD for such an AWESOME Daddy who is always there and thank you keeping him here even though we almost lost him in May of '06! You are the most wonderful father but thank you so much for the earthly father that you have given to me!

Good Friends are a BLESSING from up above!

MF's little sister. she was so sweet to let me roll her hair!

Today I got to go to my good friends house, MF.
We made candles, drank tea, played CLUE and watched a fairly tale movie.
As me and my little sister, (Baby Girl) AG (MF's little sister) and MF
played CLUE in the floor we probably looked like very quaint little children as we sipped hot tea
and played our board game!
We are all girly girls but at any moment we are not the least bit afraid to play in the mud, build a rock wall or anything else two country 11 year olds and two country 14 year olds would do!

Thank you LORD for such an AWESOME friend as MF!
She is always there for me, right by my side.
I know that any time I can tell her anything, Lean on her shoulder and cry
or just sit, have tea and laugh!
Thank you LORD!

A blessed LORDS day!

Yesterday was a very blessed LORDS day.
We went to our little church and after the service a group of children, youth and a few adults
went to a near by retirement home and sang songs, did a puppet show and gave out hugs and valentines! I think the elderly people really enjoyed it!
Then when we got home around 4:00 I got to go to a filling station with my Daddy so he could fill up his truck for Monday morning. I love the time that our LORD gives me to spend with my Daddy!
He is the most wonderful Daddy ever!
Then when we got home, it was time for "small group" to start!
It is funny that we still call it Small Group because it is anything but small, as you can see!
Mama gave us a wonderful lesson, then we went into three groups,
middle school girls in one, high school and college girls and then the boys to share prayer request.
You have probably already figured out that there are a lot more girls then guys.
That is how it has always been at our church!

My AWESOME mama

The LORD has given me the best mama a girl could ask for!

She is always there to listen, to give words of wisdom even though at times she denies it!
Many a time this is what she is found doing when we have instructed her to go and rest!
It seems as though to get her to sit down we have to sit on her!
She has always supported us in our dreams even though they seem impossible!
She is the perfect reflection of CHRIST himself
and is NEVER thinking of herself!

Thank you LORD for such an AWESOME mama!!!
I don't know what I would do without her!

Wonderful Wednesday

There has been many a Wednesday evening or afternoon
getting firewood from the wood pile from the field behind the house.
Me and Rosebud both say that we look like scare crows with so many clothes on!!
That night it was snowing!
It is such a blessing to never worry about whether or not we are going to be warm!
The wood pile on the porch is usually pretty high and if not,
When Daddy gets home, we all know what we will be doing before super!

Thank you LORD for never letting us be cold and for blessing us with a Daddy that is a wonderful provider!

A very Blessed Day!

Today was busy but very fun and blessed!
We went to the Discovery Museum because the little ones are
studying simple machines.
The D M is filled with them!
Even though it is meant for little kids, me and Doodle Bug
still love that place!
The little girl in the pic above is a friend that the little kids study with and she came with us.
We had a wonderful and blessed day.

Thank you LORD for always blessing us!
For letting us be able to do things like that all together.

MONDAY!!!!!

Our friends that GOD has blessed us with, come every Monday and we do science and history
together! It is a lot of fun. Today we get to go see our great Grandpa!
He always has frozen pizza and ice cream sandwiches for us.
Seeing your good friends on Monday is good way to start the week!

Wonderful Wednesday

This my grandmother on CHRISTmas Eve

Wednesday is my favorite day of the week!
I get to go to my awesome Grandmothers house,my daddy's mother.
I embroider while she works on some mendin' (that is what she calls it)
that I usually bring and then at 4:00 we watch her program.:)
It is so peaceful being at her house knowing that you can tell her anything, just sit and visit, do school or take a nap!

Thank you LORD for blessing me with such an AWESOME Grandmother!

Today was very busy day but it was a blessed day! We rested in the morning then we went and got Sissy from school, came home and a friend came by with his lady friend and brought us a bunch of honey buns! We all love honey buns! our GOD is always blessing us with little things and although they be little we store these things up in our hearts and will treasure them forever.
